IGCSE First Semester 2007. Excercises

The IGCSE Art and Design is a course which expect students to show understanding of shape and structure , good used of the space in terms of compositions, knowledge and understanding of media and techniques, as well skills in visual communication. This exercises I show here were painted by my IGCSE group 2007, these excercises were thought to develop the skills of drawing and painting with different medias. The second part of the course encourage the students to apply the skills learned in the the first semester in design and intepretational art pieces.

MASKS. Other Cultures. Senior 3. 2007

This project was based in other cultures masks. Senior 3's at the British School of Costa Rica. 14 years old kids. They were supposed to research in any culture which catch their attention using masks. Investigate the origin of mask, rituals, techniques and then develop their own ideas using paper maché over a structure of recycled materials.
